okay first off. I live in peru, and the people in peru love to talk. haha that is all I need to say.On Monday, we were teaching one of our new converts - Piero. And man this guy CAN TALK. So after about one hour of listening to him and many attempts of cutting him off. I resorted to standing up. Haha but my timing was quite possibly the worst. Piero, haha oh boy, has been having a hard time reading the Book of mormon consistently. So my companion right is bearing her testimony, and it is beautiful. Haha but I am so done with sitting and we need to go so right as she is saying " when we read this book we our testimonies can not fall". I stand up, and I literally fall to the ground because my leg is dead asleep. haha I don't either of us will forget that lesson.
A miracle that we saw this week was with an hermano named Juan. On Wednesday we decided to knock doors in an area where we usually don't usually go to. So anyways we knock on this guys door, and he comes to greet us with this huge smile and accepts a cita. On Thursday or Friday we taught him the gospel of Christ and handed him a book of Mormon. When we asked him to read the promise in Moroni, he left the table to go find a highlighter. When he came back, he told us he needed the highlighter because he was going to remember the first verse he read in this book.
Que chevere. honestly, how often do we take the Book of mormon for granted. We have evidence that is published in 70 plus languages that God restored his church. That our Savior lives, and with a living prophet he guides each one of us.
